City Organization Project

On 3^rd December at 10 am, Mr.Suvit Reanrungrueng, the Deputy Mayor of Hua Hin, presided over the monthly meeting on city organization (by municipal officials) to listen to the progress of the project from the previous month. There were members of the municipal council, head of Office of the Permanent for the Municipality, the head of the administrative department and the municipal officials attending the meeting. There was a total of 61 people in attendance.

Mr. Suvit Rianrungrue, said that in the meeting in November, there were discussions about the city’s organization plans and also many positive comments given to the municipal officials who had successfully achieved their goals, especially with the arrangement of advertisement boards in public areas, the horses for rent and the masseuses on the beaches.

On 29^th September 2008, the administrative council invited Prachuab Kirikhans Highway District, the water supply centre in Petchaburi together with officers of Hua Hin Municipality to consult and discuss about the rules for installing advertisement boards and signs in the public areas of Hua Hin. After the meeting had finished, the conclusions were publicized to the general public and traders. Regarding traffic problems, the municipality concluded that there were many inconvenient roads in the town and many cars and motorcycles are parking in many forbidden spots which block the flow of traffic.

In this meeting, Mr. Suvit Reanrungrueng repeated to the staff that there should be strict rules to continue with the order of everything in Hua Hin during the New Year Festival and other festivals to come. This is because Hua Hin is one of the top tourist destinations in the country. The officers must pay attention and take care of the peddlers and booths on the roadsides and footpaths.
