Hua Hin controls sewage system problem

Hua Hin municipality has assigned authorized staff to check the reported area and they found that the smell was caused by sewage water leaking from the pipe which was installed in the past unprofessionally. Previously the leakage was found underground. However, there has been recent canal digging which caused leakage into the canal.

The municipality contacted the then contractor to fix the problem. However, the work failed to meet the standard therefore the municipality is contracting a new contractor to fix sewage problem which will take three to four months.

In order to avoid environmental problem, Hua Hin municipality has been contacting businesses in Hua Hin area to control their sewage system and avoid sending the sewage water into the canal. The municipality will also randomly choose businesses and provide the test to ensure that they will not release bad water into natural places like canals or sea which will cause major environmental problem.
