Canal Digging Ceremony
Mr. Panchai Bawornrattanapran, the provincial governor presided over the canal digging ceremony. The canal, next to the railroad line in Hua Hin, extending from far beyond Hua Hin to the north and Kao Takiab has been initiated upon His Majesty The King’s advice and is believed to solve the flooding problem in Hua Hin and Wang Klai Kang Won Palace. The ceremony took place at Nong-kae.
Hua Hin municipality council meeting
On 8 July 2008, Mr. Pathom Pookdum, the president of municipality council presided over the annual meeting participated by the management team of municipality council members, chiefs and local media at the Hua Hin municipality council meeting room.
Singing contest
Mr. Phairoj Maakmoo, the head of Hua Hin-Cha-Am Tourism Association and the consultant for the Hua Hin mayor together with Mr. Wisut Bunyasakseree and Hua Hin’s municipality council members, joined in a photograph with all the winners from “TaTa Young One Love Karaoke” at Hua Hin Market Village on the 5th July 2008.
Award Giving
Mr. Viwat Nitikarnjana, secretary to the ministry of natural resources and environment gave an award of honor at the Hua Hin Market Village to, Mr. Jira Pongphaiboon, Hua Hin mayor and Ms. Kanokwaan Khaikaew, the director and the representatives of the Bo Fai Municipality School, winner of the Aluminum Recycle Project
Hua Hin municipality to prepare for the Queen’s Birthday
On 22 July 2008, Mr. Jira Pongphaiboon, Hua Hin mayor, together with management team and chiefs of Hua Hin municipality held a meeting in order to prepare the celebration for the Her Majesty The Queen’s birthday on 12th of August.
Charity Talk Show
On 21 July 2008, Mr. Panchai Bawornrattanapran, the provincial governor, presided over the opening of the Charity Talk Show for handicapped at Hua Hin Grand Hotel.
The Buddhist Lent Festival
Mr. Jira Pongpaibool, The Mayor of Hua Hin Town Municipality, attended a Large Candle Parade Festival (Buddhist Lent Festival) together with government administrators, members of municipal councils and Hua Hin residents. There were 30 parades from the Government, Private Enterprises & Hua Hin residents that came to celebrate the Buddhist Lent Festival at Phon Khing Phet Public Park on July 16, 2008.
