Hua Hin Rotary awarded Krip Rojanasathian Best Environment Preserver

Mr Krip Rojanasathian, leader of Preserve Hua Hin Group, explained that he won an award of Best Environment Preserver of year 2005-2006, his friend Mr Tawee Kesa-ngam was awarded Best Contemporary Artist, and Mr Somchai Sinthae won Best Teacher award. All awards are by Hua Hin Rotary Club.

Khun Krip further stated that he's honoured to receive the award because Rotary Clubs are famous worldwide and receive acceptance from people around the globe. Hua Hin Rotary recognizes people who dedicate their time and effort to help their local communities socially. The award that he received is a good way to encourage people in the society to provide more help.

Preserve Hua Hin Group was established by Mr Krip himself and a group of people from different careers who would like to care for Hua Hin's beaches, the sea, and its tourist attractions to maintain their cleanliness in order to avoid pollution which will then affect the whole community in Hua Hin. If the group finds any one committing activities which harm nature, the group will report the person to the government sector who should check the problem. The group will also help the government to tackle environmental problems.

The Preserve Hua Hin Group assists the government sector by providing funds to purchase equipment and tools. The group has been donating cars to collect garbage on Hua Hin beach and motorbikes to the municipality to enhance smoother operations. The group receives positive co-operation from schools and the business sector who also wish to maintain Hua Hin's nature at its best.

The Preserve Hua Hin Group organize annual activities such as Preserve Hua Hin Marathon in May, Preserve Hua Hin Walk in August, Preserve Hua Hin Beach Sports in August, Painting-Writing-Poem for Students Competition in August, Preserve Hua Hin Concert in October, Preserve Hua Hin Beach Clean-Up in November, to name a few. The Preserve Hua Hin Group started to hold activities in 2004.

Mr Krip Rojanasathian is a son of Mr Boonchoo (former deputy prime minister and minister of finance) and Mrs Renoo Rojanasathian. He graduated from a high school in England then transferred to America where he graduated with a bachelor degree in public administration.

At present Mr Krip acts as the director of Chiva Som International Health Resort Co., Ltd., director of Preserve Hua Hin Group, deputy manager of Bangkok Bank Public Co., Ltd., and as a Director of Football Association of Thailand.
