Hua Hin Superintendent warns hotel entrepreneurs to prevent accidents

Pol.Col. Kasana Jaemsawang, the Hua Hin Superintendent, Prachuap Khirikhan Province, disclosed that according to the Hua Hin – Cha-am Tourism Association’s meeting, he has been here as the superintendent for 3 months. The common criminal robs from foreign tourists. In most cass is bag-snatching and it’s likely to take place in front of hotels in town during 19.00 – 23.00 hrs.
At the moment, patrol police officers by foot and motorbikes are on the alert ready for any rescues in risky areas. Hotel and guesthouse owners have to warn and advise their hotel guests to bring only a small wallets and do not wear valuables with when walking at night.
The hotel guests should check doors and locks of their rooms if they are in a good condition. This is to prevent any breaking into the rooms especially in 2 or 3 stars hotels. It is often that a criminal appears as a tourist checking in next room and will breaking into the room next door when a room is free.
The problem now is that the number of police officers in the area are not enough, but the operations can be performed well because the order is passed directly to suppression, traffic and investigation sections to work together in a team. So that it will be useful to the police when verifying and arresting those criminals.
Entrepreneur grous have suggested relevant organization to increase more of the patrol police officers in order to spread out inspection area.
For this issue, the Superintendent will accept and consult with the higher Commissioners to arrange the police positions to fulfill insufficiency in Hua Hin in the hope of preserving Hua Hin as one of the best destination forever.
