Improving the Civil Boy Scouts Groups

Pol. Lt. Gen Somsak Kwaengsopa, Director of the Civil Boy Scout under Royal support said that at the moment the number of Civil Boy Scouts in Thailand is around 7 million in 6 sections and they have somehow been in undesirable conditions. All are loyal to the King and the Royal family and Thailand and they will be glad to serve the society whenever and wherever they have the opportunity and are needed.

Interior minister, Pol. Gen. Kovit Wattana has now proclaimed the policy that each section should improve the condition of the Civil Boy Scout Troup in order to be ready to help out the country in all areas; economy, social, drugs problems, etc.

Pol. Gen. Kovit Wattana has passed the order regarding the matter to all governors in be proud to serve their country in confirm their love for the nation. There should also be a seminar for the current Civil Boy Scout Troup to encourage their awareness about their roles in society.

One of the most important principles of being a Civil Boy Scout is to uphold the nation, the religion, culture and traditions and loyalty to the Royal Family and also to serve society at any occasion possible. When such qualities are carried out by the Civil Boy Scouts, they will be honored and trusted by society, said Pol. Lt. Gen Somsak.

Pol. Lt. Gen Somsak added that previously in Sriracha District, Chonburi Province, there was a meeting and training with the Civil Boy Scouts from which the results have pleased the government and the Ministry of Interior affairs. Therefore at the end of this year, there will be training in Hua Hin and the governor has already received the plan for the program. Hua Hin residents can now be prepared to receive  training for the benefit of the nation and more importantly for His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen as they are residing in the city right now.

Regarding the budget for operations, The Civil Boy Scout are given 17 million Baht per year by the government and an amount from His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen.  If there are any persons, companies or organizations who would like to support the Civil Boy Scouts, they can provide tools and material for training or money donations.
