“Nahb Talay” – a new hang out place in Hua Hin
“Putahracsa Resort” is a 5 star boutique hotel of a unique design located in the heart of Hua Hin with a stunning ocean view. The owner of the hotel – Velvadi Sritrairatana is a descendant of Khun Ying Supatra who served under the royal court of his majesty, King Rama VI.
Putahracsa Resort is famous for its day Spa that practices a balance of traditional theories and modern techniques to create treatments that unify the mind, body and soul. However, in the near future the day Spa will not be the only attraction for “Putahracsa Resort”, a new Bistro-Café-Pub and a Bar- all at the same time - is opening very soon in Nahb Talay Restaurant that is going to change its concept and will become a center point and a new hang out place in Hua Hin with a relaxing atmosphere where people can feel like home without being hassled by outside world.
General Manager – Richard Mehr was kind enough to invite Hua Hin Today for an unforgettable lunch in the beach front restaurant and tell us all about the new place.
Nahb Talay will have a DJ from Bangkok who will play every weekend remixes from 70s and 80s, no techno and no house. There will be wireless internet so that people can bring their own laptops and enjoy a cup of coffee checking their emails and reading the news. There will be a small library with books, magazines and newspapers. During the day Nahb Talay will be a coffee shop and an internet Café and towards the evening it will turn into a Pub.
Richard’s idea is to design this place according to the customers’ wishes. The light, the internet, the food and the drinks are in place, afterwards the management intends to listen to all the visitors very carefully trying to understand how do they want Nahb Talay to look like, what do they want from this place. Putting all the suggestions and ideas together will help to make Nahb Talay a number one hang out place that Hua Hin is missing. Richard wants to concentrate not only on tourists but local visitors as well - foreigners and Thais who live in Hua Hin. In other words - Nahb Talay will build the house and the customers will decorate it.
The soft opening will take place on March 28th, Friday at 7 pm. DJ Krup from Bangkok will be playing the music that was mixed by DJ Kenny who is very famous not only in Thailand but internationally as well. Everyone is welcome!
