Ordinary Municipality Meeting Second term 2008
On Tuesday 8th July, 2008 Mr. Pathom Pookdum the Chairman of Hua Hin Municipal Council opened the ordinary period meeting, second term in 2008. Attendees on this meeting are Mr. Jira Pongpaiboon the Mayor of Hua Hin with Deputy Mayor, Advisor, Secretary to the Mayor, Secretary of the Municipal Council, Section Chief and media at the Hua Hin Municipality Meeting Room.

Report of the first meeting of Hua Hin Municipality Council first ordinary period year 2008 dated on Thursday 12 June, 2008.
Announcement for an acceptance of over debt year 2008 to support on the process from plastic rubbish to fuel from the Division of Public health.
Announcement on privilege transfer of a shop and change of lessee at Chatchai Market - 2 cases.
Announcement on rental of the Municipality commercial building No.70 at Dehanuchit Rd, 1 case.
Announcement on shortage of payment and saving money due to payments of expenses as per plan.
Announcement from Division of Finance on shortage of payment and saving money due to purchase of a machine for the process of making fuel out of plastics.
Announcement on the request to transfer the budget of the year 2008 to be the new budget for all divisions.
The agenda was discussed by the Representatives and the Administration and the contents of the agenda was agreed upon.
The chairman of the meeting allowed the representative to open the debate and inform all attendees about subjects that are of concern to all local residents, such as :
The problems at Narej Project.
Water system doesn’t work at Kao Tao.
Cleaning all streets in Hua Hin
Suggestion to have a speaker on the council meeting.
To pay respect (stand up), every time the National Anthem is played at 08.00 hrs and 18.00 hrs each day.
Progress on Municipal Administration policy and planning, such as;
Learning 3 languages (Thai, Chinese and English) will be held in the next meeting,
reducing the water charge and also solve the problems with the water system at Kao Tao by splitting it into 2 periods of time to release the water (at 03.00AM – 08.00AM) and (at 15.00PM – 21.00PM) and trying to let it work 24 hours in some areas.
