Scenery Improvement
On 1st October 2008, Mr. Panchai Bawornratanapran, the governor of Prachuab Kirikhan, together with Mr. Prasit Boonlikit, Hua Hin district officer, and Mr. Jira Pongphaiboon, Hua Hin mayor, had planted trees along Petchkasem road, Hua Hin. The project is meant to improve Hua Hin’s scenery.
Seminar for Syncope and Cirrhosis
On 9th October 2008, Mr. Jira Pongphaiboon, mayor, presided over the seminar for Syncope and Cirrhosis for general public. The seminar was led by Air Marshal Doctor. Thawat Choothongchart, director of San Paolo hospital, Doctor. Nitiwat Kitsri-Urai, director of Samitivej Hospital in Bangkok, Doctor. Vipakorn Choosaeng, Cirrhosis specialist and physician. The seminar took place at Sombat hall conference, Sundance Hotel.

Municipality Established Day
On 1st October 2008, Mr. Jira Pongphaiboon, mayor, ML. Poranee Ross, the owner of Komapat Fabric Printing House, and Hua Hin municipality council members and representatives from municipality offered food to the monks as the occasion of Hua Hin Municipality’s 71th Anniversary or Established Day. The ceremony took place at Hua Hin Municipality.
FM 120.5 – Radio Station – Blood Donation Project
Hua Hin Surf 102.5 FM, Radio Station, together with Hua Hin Market Village, The Tourist Police, Ford Jor.Jaroen- Prachuab Kirikhan, Meguiar’s – Car Cosmetic accessories, Bean’n Leaf Café and Starbucks organized a blood donation project for the Thai Red Cross as a charity contribution to their Majesties The King and The Queen.
Maj. Cholsit Teawtad, Tourist Police Inspector, presided over the opening ceremony on Friday, 10th October 2008 at the meeting hall on the 3rd floor at Hua Hin Market Village. Many people participated in the project, both from outside institutions and the people in the Market Village. The total number of the blood donators was 70 whilst 41 who wanted to donate blood were not able to do so because of their physical conditions. Hua Hin Market Village would like to thank all participants for the donations.
28th anniversary
Mr. Simmy Tan and Mrs. Jennleek Tan hosted their 28th anniversary at Hua Hin Brewery Hills, Hua Hin. Gen. Charnvit Srithamawut, Ms. Pairorvalee Chaiyaprasit, Mr. Suwit Rienroonrueng, Hua Hin Vice Mayor, and other honored guests were invited to celebrate their 28th anniversary on 17th October 2008
