Thailand International Exhibition and Convention Center (THAI E.C.)
Thailand International Exhibition and Convention Center (THAI E.C.) is at 222th Km. from Bangkok opposite the Dusit Thani Resort Hotel. It is scheduled to open on the 9th of January 2009. It is under construction presently and will have 6 halls for seminars, general fairs and banquets. The total area is 50,000 square meters on the 34 Rai of land. There will be large car park to accommodate all incoming traffic. Phase II is still under negotiation and focused on more 78 Rai of land. The total area will then be 112 Rai. The width of the land expands over 500 meters with a total area of several hundred thousand square meters and it situated on Petchkasem road.
The schedule for the 10 main programs until the end of the year 2009 is as follows
1. Salute To All Nations is a trade fair, music, movie, fashion, cultural, learning, trading and investment of each country celebrate their national’s day.
2. Thailand Real Estates Market Fair is an exhibition about real estate business for houses, land and condominiums on sale in Thailand.
3. Thailand Exports Market Fair is a trade fair and center of industry and export of Thailand, open all year.
4. Thailand Importers Market Fair is a trade fair for importers in Thailand , open all year.
5. Thailand Tourism Market Fair is a center of tourism business in Thailand, open all year.
6. Expats Night Bazaar is international night bazaar , open all year
7. General Fair is trade fair many kinds of product, every week and open all year.
8. Miss Thailand Beauty Contest is the first pageant contest where contesting girls will come from each province. It will be held on 9 January – 28 March 2009. At this date, the Miss Thailand Beauty Contest 2009 will be held with candidates of 76 provinces in Thailand.
9. General Beauty Contest is a beauty contest for models, fashion and others events in every week all the year.
10. Music and Dance Competition is a contest for music and dance, held every week and all the year round
There will be more festivals such as Songkran l, October Fest, Halloween, Carnival and Mardigras, etc. We hope that the amount of visitors is over 10,000 people / day and in some weekend even more than 100,000 people.
