International Gourmet Supplies recently organized an exclusive dinner to introduce Wagyu beef and Rose' veal from Australia at McFarland House, the beachfront casual bar and dining Thai Pavilion of Hyatt Regency Hua Hin. All Executive Chefs from Hua Hin and Cha Am major hotels were invited to experience the premium beef product professionally cooked by McFarland House's chefs.

 

 

Hua Hin Marriott Resort and Spa associates, led by Naowarat Arunkong, Director of Operations, recently participated in the Waste Classification Campaign at “Baan Nong Hieng” school. The hotel provided garbage bins for the school while encouraging students to classify garbage before disposing.  The pleasant day started with Hua Hin Marriott managers and associates serving lunch to the children and was followed by a presentation ceremony of beautifully decorated and labeled waste bins before an exciting waste classification game. From participating in the game, the students not only won prizes but gained knowledge of how to categorize the rubbish; which will play a big part in fighting global warming and the detriment to our planet for future generations !!

A group of Administrative Court judges, led by Judge Ackaratorn Chularat, the President of the Supreme Administrative Court had their group photograph taken at  Dusit Thani Hua Hin before heading off to Klaikangwon Palace, Prachuab Khiri Khan.to take their oath of office before His Majesty the King.

 

                                                  

 

 Anantara Resort & Spa Hua Hin’s management team led by Tim Boda, Hotel Manager, held the mountain bike trip to Khao Takiap on 13th September. The purpose of this outdoor excursion was to let the team experience activities that we currently offer to our guests.

 

The trip started early, at 6 am on a Saturday morning, when most of Hua Hin was asleep. The energetic and focused management team from Anantara resort, rode on their mountain bikes along Phetkasem road in the cool early morning sun, observing and learning about Hua Hin morning culture. This was followed by morning briefing at Khao Takiap viewpoint and finally the team started their day with a great breakfast. All the members of the management team immensely enjoyed this outdoor excursion and look forward to their next activity.
                                  

                                      Marriott Builds New Home, New Lives  

 

 More than 135 Marriott volunteers in Thailand have spent 2 days to building homes for six disadvantaged families at Pathum Thani province.  The effort was led by Boyd Barker, GM of Hua Hin Marriott Resort and Spa, and Patrick Martinez, GM of Bangkok Marriott Resort and Spa, who were working as part of Minor International’s association with Habitat for Humanity Thailand.  The Marriott Resorts also donated 15 million baht towards building project.
