Water Supply to Tippawan Village – Samor Prong
Mr. Anan Boonthed of the Hua Hin Municipality Council Member region 1, Prachuab Khirikhan said that he has received a letter of complain from the residents of Tippawan Village 1, 2, and 3 in Samor Prong, the Housing Development in which many Thais and foreigners are living in around 300 houses. They are affected by the high price of water supply from the village itself which is 20 Baht per unit.
In the beginning the residents thought that the price is acceptable but they can no longer afford it now. Also, now the municipality has extended the main pipe for water supply to a location near the village.
Hence the residents of the village came to the water supply administration of the municipality to submit a request letter for installation of the water supply system but it was rejected rejected. The officers said that they require a house plan from each resident which they do not have since the housing development was built 10 years ago.
Mr. Anan also said that the villagers have requested to him and Mr. U-dom Duangkhae, a Hua Hin Municipality Council Member to be their representatives and submit the complaint to the mayor of Hua Hin, Mr. Jira Pongphaiboon, as to why they cannot have a water supply from the municipality. They also want to know how much it costs to install a pipeline system and why is a house plan needed.
Mr. Anan has submitted the complaint and informed the executives about the matter.
If the municipality enables the water supply to be installed at Tippawan Village, it would relieve the burden of the residents of this village to a great extend.
