On August 9, 2008, The Putahracsa Hotel organized a weekly  cooking workshop. Ms Siriyakorn Pukavet or Khun Aoom,  a  well-known Thai actress and artist demonstrated scone cooking, the dessert for tea.  Among other local and international guests, Mr. Jira Pongpaiboon, Hua Hin Mayor and Mr. Suwit Rienrungrueng, Hua Hin Vice Mayor also participated in this workshop. 

 

 Hua Hin – Rubbish Free Day

 

On August 8, 2008, Pol. Maj. Jaturapat Bhiromkaew. Ph.D., Inspector, Hua Hin Tourist Police and his party led the “Hua Hin – Rubbish Free” day on Phetkasem Road when 100 volunteers from The Marriott Resort and Spa,  students and faculties from Baan Nong Hieng School and Somthawin International School actively helped clean the streets.    This social - oriented event was sponsored by Ford Jor Charoen Prachuabkhirikhan, Meguiar’s Car Cosmetic articles,  Hua Hin Surf,  FM. 102.5 and Starbucks Coffee.

 

 

Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa’s management and associates led by Stephan Winkler, General Manager, held the its First Anniversary Ceremony on August 8, 2008. This ceremony is dedicated to mark the auspicious occasion of resort’s first year anniversary, beginning with paying respect to the resort’s shrine and Buddhist ceremony at Grand Ballroom. In the evening, all management and associates celebrated this first anniversary together with a “Colorful Night Party”, which was also a farewell party for Stephan Winkler, General Manager whose last day of working at Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa was on the same day.

 

 

As Part of Marriott International “Spirit to Serve’ community campaign, Hua Hin Marriott Resort and Spa and its other 30 volunteer associates joined together for blood donation recently at the hotel’s Hua Hin conference room.  This event was supported by Branch of the Provincial Red Cross Chapter at Amphur Hua Hin and the Hua Hin Hospital.

 

 

The Privy Councillor Admiral M.L. Asanee Pramot recently presided over the award presentation and closing ceremony of the Hua Hin Regatta 2008 at the Sofitel Centara Grand Resort & Villas, Hua Hin. The Privy Councillor was welcomed by the hotel manager Remko Kroesen.  The events were followed by a dinner reception at the hotel's Railway Restaurant. Guests included VIPs from the Royal Thai Navy, and the Yacht Racing Association of Thailand, sponsors and over 250 competitors attended the dinner.
