The newly appointed Tourist Police Inspector
Pol. Maj. Ph.D. Jaturaphat Phiromkaew, the new Tourist Police Inspector, finished his lower secondary level from Kasetsart University Laboratory School and higher secondary level from Armed Forces Academies Preparatory School (35th). He was certified in the Investigation of Computer Crime, Hillsboro Police Department Oregon and Criminal Profiling and Violent Offenders from Portland State University, Oregon, USA.
In his Bachelor degree, he graduated in political and administrative science from the Royal Police Cadet Academy (51st), he gained a Masters degree in MPA from Portland University, Oregon USA and Doctorate Degree in Urban Studies and Planning, Regional Science, from Portland State University, Oregon, USA.
For his governmental service record, he moved from the position of Prevention and Suppression Inspector of Phayathai Police Station to the position of Tourist Police Inspector, Tourist Police Station 7, Sub Division 2 Tourist Police. In the past, he was an assistant lecturer in researching in the "Center for Urban Study, Portland University" and training program in Portland Police Bureau, Oregon (Inspection Unit). He also joined the team METRO, Regional Planning Agency, Oregon (Land Value and Taxation) and he was appointed as the consultant of statistics application and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Portland State University.
Furthermore, he used to be an academician and a consultant in research in Hillsboro Police Department and he also has a unique ability in analyzing data with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), making statistics for research and application statistics including how to use a gun effectively 100% of the time with the Practical Pistol Course (PPC). He is also the specialist Pistol Expert of Hillsboro Police Department. Finally, he also passed a Black Band Aikido from Portland Aikikai, Oregon, Portland, USA.
As a result of this knowledge of Pol. Maj. Ph.D. Jaturaphat Phiromkaew, the Hua Hin Tourist Police Inspector, it is believed that Thai and foreign tourists will receive good service from the Tourist Police Station and it is expected that tourism in Hua Hin will develop as a result.
