Tourist police provides safety training
However, there are not enough police forces to provide security in the beach areas. Therefore, tourist polices has come up with a project to tackle problems that might occur to tourists when they swim in sea. The tourist police then provide training which combine theories and practice to local people and water sports business owners and their staff, business vendors on the beach, hotel staff, local volunteers, and local people in Hua Hin and Cha-Am. More than 100 people attended the training course.
Attendees learn how to help sea victims safely, correctly and quickly. The training is a good tool to publicize policy in providing protection and safety to tourists.
