Megabooks Hua Hin opened its new branch
Megabooks has now opened a second branch in Khao Takiab to compliment its downtown Hua Hin branch opposite the Sofitel.
The new store was launched at a party on 19 September 2008 attended by many residents of the Khao Takiab area.
Megabooks Khao Takiab is a much expanded version of the downtown store, incorporating in addition to a full-service bookstore, a coffee shop offering a full range of specialty drinks, pastries and a gelato bar.
The second floor has an internet lounge which is free to all customers as well as a full range of children’s books, and for the first time, a wide range of children’s toys.
In commenting on the opening, Managing Director Suchittra Plodprong said: “The Khao Takiab area is fast becoming a popular destination for both tourists and residents with over 12 hotels now open and many new condos coming on the market”
“Substantial real estate developments in the Pranburi and Khao Tao areas make Khao Takiab even more of a logical centre for those people who wish to avoid the centre of Hua Hin with its attendant parking problems,” she added.
The original Megabooks store in downtown Hua Hin will remain open as it is ideally suited for tourists staying at all the major hotels in the city centre.
