Thailand International Ballroom Dancing Championships
The event is hosted by the Thailand International Ballroom Dancing Co. Ltd—an organisation set up by Khun Uapan. The idea behind the competition is to promote dance in Thailand. Khun Uapan says, "I hope that I can help promote dance in Thailand so that there are more people interested and involved. Thailand has many very skilled dancers and I wish to create opportunities so that our dancers will take part in the international competitions. It is very encouraging that these championships have attracted so many competitors from so many countries."
22 internationally world renowned judges have been assembled from a far a field as Europe, US and throughout Asia. All are licensed by the WD&DSC (World Dance & Dance Sports Council).
