10th Red Cross Fair in April

The main purpose of Hua Hin Red Cross was focused on helping the poor in various ways. Mr. Phongthep Suchon, the Master of Hua Hin Red Cross (at that time) found that coordinators between offices including organ and eye donators, didn’t feel comfortable contacting the office, so he proceeded to relocate to the new office on the intersection next to Hua Hin Municipal Office by performing an official opening ceremony on 28th October 2001, under the supervision of Mr. Prasit Boonlikit, Hua Hin District Chief Officer, taking the position of Hua Hin Red Cross Master at this moment.
The main activities of the Hua Hin Red Cross are concerned with blood, organ and eye donation as well as helping the poor in various ways including encouraging sport activities to fight against narcotics. Moreover, the Hua Hin Red Cross also holds an annual fair each April to raise money for charity in the name of “Maesa – Kachad” or “Red Cross Fair in April”. This year the 10th Red Cross Fair will take place on 28th April to 7th May at Naab Kehaad Road. It is also expected that there will be a lot of interested Thai and foreign visitors joining the fair.
Activities will be composed of drawing Red Cross lots for charity, local products and food fairs including other spectacular performances. So, all locals and tourists are invited and welcome to join the Fair and to donate to charity.
