2nd ‘Amazing Thailand’ Photograph Contest

The project also encourages Thai people as well as visitors to travel around Thailand. This is also to create people’s awareness to preserve tourist destinations, different Thai cultures and traditions, and their diverse way of life. The contest is divided into 3 categories. The first is Travel Thailand during night time; pictures, portraying the beauty of places in Thailand after the sun has set until before the sun rise. The second type is Visiting the Thai lifestyle; the pictures show various Thai ways of living, Thai traditions, festivals, music, etc. The third category is Tourist Attractions of Thailand; the physical conditions of tourist destinations in Thailand.

The winner of the photograph contest will get the prize money of 100,000 baht and the photographs will be featured in the tourism encyclopedia. Interested candidates can submit photographs to TAT from now until February 10^th, 2009.

‘Amazing Thailand’ Photograph Contest is a means to promote tourism in each province of Thailand .When people see the beautiful pphotographs, they will be interested in visiting the actual places. Therefore, this will promote the tourist industry. TAT hopes that many people will submit their photographs and participate in the project.
