Origami is the art of paper folding. The word is Japanese, literally meaning to fold ( Oru ) paper ( Kami ) . Khun Duangchai, the senior program officer of Japan foundation is passionate in Japanese art and culture and will teach you the technique of Origami

• Saturday 13 September 2008 “Fancy gel candle making ” From 14.00 hrs. onward at Nahb Talay
Do you love beautiful, scented candles? And do you know that you can easily make them yourself? It is exciting and not at all difficult. Join us to create unique candles which you can burn at home or give to someone special.
• Saturday 20 September 2008 “Healing hand ” From 14.00 hrs. onward at Sala Monsoon
Self massage is a healing art which can be utilized as the path to harmonize body and mind. In this workshop you will learn to practice the healing hand and simple massage techniques from head to toes.
• Saturday 27 September 2008 “Batik painting ” From 14.00 - 15.30 hrs. and 15.30 - 17.00 hrs. at Nahb Talay
In only a couple of hours you can make your own batik cloth to take home and use as scarf or show it in a frame. Very interesting and inspiring workshop. To share the experience with many people, the activity will be divided into two groups.
