Hua Hin to welcome Mountain Bikes to Five Neighbored Countries of Khong River

This project is also about promoting ecotourism and to join in cultural relationships and sports with neighboring countries and also to emphasize the importance of exercising for health by cycling in accordance with Northern Regional Tourism Development Project.

The activities in the project will include cycling all over the northern region of Thailand and to the countries in Khong River community; Thailand - Myanmar - China - Laos and Cambodia, covering 6,199 kilometers, taking 81 days to complete. Each mountain bike will be decorated with yellow flags on which HM. 80th Birthday Anniversary Celebration emblem will be printed.

Then, there will be books "Dern Taam Roi Tao Pho Yoo Yang Pho Piang or Following Father�s step, live sufficiently" published by the government to be distributed to people all over the country to extend the result of The Sufficient Economy Philosophy. Moreover, clothes, stationery, educational and sporting equipment will be distributed to students/schools and people along the route of the journey. This project is devoted in the merit of such an auspicious ceremony.

For us in Hua Hin, we will have a great chance to welcome the group of Mountain Bikes to Five Countries of Khong River. For this special event the Municipality Office of Hua Hin has assigned a public relations team to welcome the teams of mountain bikes at the overpass road to Hua Hin Municipality. They will lead the mountain bikes to officially perform a welcoming ceremony at Phon King Phet Park.

After that, there will be launching ceremony to see them off to Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province. From now on, people in Hua Hin are invited to act as friendly hosts and to welcome the group of Mountain Bikes to Five Countries of Khong River.
