The Banyan Golf Club Investors Challenge Cup 2008
The competition for the investors was played over the 18-holes with an individual stable ford format with prizes for longest drive and nearest the Pin. Peter Van Kappel drives his new Callaway ‘Hyper X’ driver 278-yards down the middle of the fairway on hole7 to collect the longest drive prize, whilst Golf Course designer Pirapon Namatra plays a delightful tee shot off the Signature 15th hole to be awarded with nearest the pin. Golf East’s Pirapon Namatra, with a handicap of 7 also walked away with the trophy coming in 1st place with a total of 36 points. The day continued with the delightful outdoor catering services provided by the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin.
Stacey Walton, General Manager commented on the day as “It was a real pleasure to see golfers out experiencing our golf course and our Golf Course maintenance crew did a fantastic job to prepare the golf course to be in excellent condition” Banyan Golf Club, Hua Hin is ready to take reservations for golf tournaments and is scheduled to open in August 2008 as part of the Hua Hin Golf Festival 2008 at the golf festival rate of Bht.800
