a Day Spa at the famous Hilton Hotel
In July I had a pleasure to enjoy a Day Spa at the famous Hilton Hotel where I’ve been a regular member of the fitness center for the last 2 years.
The Spa is located on the mezzanine floor, with 650 square meters facilities, and 10 treatment rooms – 9 large, luxurious double suites (perfect for couples’ massage) and a spacious and comprehensive single room. Outdoor treatment rooms with sunken baths and Vichy showers facing Hua Hin beach are also available. All rooms have individual showers and changing area.
The interior of the spa is intended to evoke the feeling of a Contemporary Asian Style with floor-to-ceiling windows, warm colors, soft lighting, teak woods, bamboo and rice paper. Every visual detail and a soft tranquil music help to achieve a calming atmosphere and put you in a right state of mind.
The stuff is outstanding. I was greeted by a lady in a traditional Thai costume who spoke perfect English. I was given a questionnaire along with the welcome ginger drink and was asked to provide some information about my health and weather I preferred a soft or a hard touch.
My therapist helped me to decide what my body needed that day and we chose the luxurious treatment called “Jasmine Spa”.
I have begun my journey and started the decompression process.
I was escorted down a long hall to the double suite with a private Changing Area. I was given a robe and sandals and left to enjoy the Jasmine soak bath in a Jacuzzi full of fresh rose petals that was very relaxing I must say. When I was done, I moved to the very comfortable bed (more comfortable that I ever saw in other Spas) and was given a vigorous full body exfoliation with white polishing Jasmine rice mixture with a pleasant smell that helped me to expose and nourish new skin. Afterwards I was offered to have a shower and was given a gentle aroma massage. My therapist had very experienced hands and she customized the treatment by concentrating on the body parts that I desired to be massaged the most. Her touch helped me to relax, open the joints, as well as release old, hard knots in my shoulders. Fabulous!
My 2 hour treatment was about to be over… I took a deep, slow breath and nudge my mind back into consciousness. Time flew so fast! I got dressed, had a cup of hot tea and went to the reception area.
This spa is for you if you want a completely luxurious, pampering experience in a flashy and over-the-top hotel.
In addition to the treatment rooms, Hilton Day Spa offers a sophisticated Beauty Salon with a complete range of hair and nail services. There are manicure and pedicure areas that have the same decor elements as the Spa and professional stuff that will be able to satisfy your needs.
The prices start from 1500 Baht. There are numbers of delicious-sounding signature spa treatments using all sorts of botanicals.
The Hilton Day Spa also offers special couple treats as well as treatments for men only.
The Jasmine Spa Treatment will be on promotion through August, you can get it for 2500 Baht ++ (2 hours) for one person and 4000 Baht++ (2 hours) for a couple. Believe me, it’s worth it! And don’t forget to schedule your appointment in advance!
