Cooking Class: Grilled Beef Salad
We are back with our Thai recipes!
Today we are going to make Grilled Beef Salad:
You will need the following ingridients:
1) Beef tenderloin 1/2 kg
2) Cucumber 3-4 pieces
3) Tomatoes 5-6 pieces
4) Onion 1 piece
5) Garlic 1 glove
6) Pepper to taste
7) Soya sauce 2 table spoons
8) Fish sauce 3 table spoons
9) Lemon Juice 2 1/2 table spoons (its better to squeeze it out of fresh limes)
10) Sugar 1 table spoon
11) Chillies (only if you like spicy food)
12) Green onions cut into 4 cm pieces (to taste)
To marinate beef:
1) Oyster sauce 2 table spoons
2) Black soy sauce (Seeu Dam) 1 tea spoon
3) Sugar 1/2 tea spoon
4) Black papper to taste
Directions:
1. Marinate beef, if you wish you could leave it for half an hour for a stronger flavor but it is not necessary.
2. Grill it in the oven until well done. If you don't have much time, you could also fry it. Slice it into thin pieces when its ready.
3. Cut tomatoes, cucumbers, green and white onions into pieces,add soya sauce, fish sauce, lemon juice, pepper and sugar, mix well.
4) Add beef and serve cold.
