Studying for a Bachelor's degree in France means you don't have to sit the entrance exams for state universities. This applies to both french and foreign students, but you have to be able to speak fluent French before you are able to study there. For private universities, it is more acceptable that you sit the entrance exam before studying at the chosen university. This is the policy in the French education system.
The students in France are very conscientious and study hard. They do not lose their focus from their studies as this is seen as poor behavior and not sociable acceptable, so going out and partying every night, then coming in with poor grades is definitely not an option. If you want to get along with French students, you have to also join in with their sporting activities. Being a student in France does not require you to wear a uniform, but you should dress accordingly with respect. The only students who do wear uniforms are those in the police, military or airline schools.
"I have studied in France for about 6 years doing my Bachelor's degree. It cost about 2 million baht, but with diligence, I applied to work as a cook in some local restaurants to get money to support my living expenses and to take some of the responsibility away from my family. If parents are thinking of sending their children to study in France, they have to make sure they are prepared financially. Said Mr. Phananchai.
The population in France is about 60 million with most of them being Christians in the Roman Catholic faith with also some Islamic residents. .France is governed by the Socialist Republic regime with the president Nicolas Sarkozy in charge of running the countries political departments. France is also said to be the 5th superpower country of the world.
There are many classes of people both rich and poor, but with Socialist Republic regime, the French people are similar to the ones in the Democratic system. The thing that we can see now in France is that unions are demanding higher wages for their workers. They will submit their request to the district office and wait patiently for their reply. Usually there is no violence of damage to public property. If the unions decide to strike within the railways then this causes a big problem for the members of public, because the train is the only mode of transport from the North to the South of the country.
France divides its government into 80 provinces with 20 colonial provinces, totaling 100 provinces. The capital city is Paris with the famous Law University, La Sorbonne, where ex-prime minister of Thailand, Mr. Preedee Phanomyong, as well as Ph.D. Phokhin Phollakul, an ex deputy prime minister graduated.
Mr. Phananchai now resides in his home town, Hua Hin, where he spends his free time teaching French at the Rajbhat Suandusit University.
