Spa Review

At Tea Tree Spa, Holiday Inn Resort Regent Beach Cha-Am

One of the highlights of the Holiday Inn Regent Beach is the Tea Tree Spa. It offers a perfect getaway to relax and sooth your body and mind with a range of therapies including reflexology. The Tea Tree Spa has 8 indoor treatment rooms with Thai Salas and 8 outdoor treatment lounges at the beach front.
I’m on my way to the Tea Tree Spa and I’m about to temporarily leave the stresses of daily work behind and enter the zone of total relaxation.
I am greeted by an associate wearing uniform that looks like traditional Thai costume. She ushers me into a private room with an inner sanctum of soothing colors, sounds, smells and diffuse lighting. Each room has an outdoor Thai Sala  - a chill-out  zone that offers inviting chairs, table and a big Jacuzzi.
I’m given a robe and a towel and led into the changing room. My masseuse is waiting for me in the outdoor lounge ready to give me a soothing foot soak. Cup of herbal tea is on the table. Tranquil music is playing very softly in the background which is giving me a calm state of mind as well as a feeling of physical well-being.

Treatment that I was offered is called the “Tea Tree Signature” which included Body Scrub, Aromatherapy, Hot Stones and Mini facial. The hot stone massage was something that I never experienced before and it turned out to be the best massage I have ever had. The Tea Tree expert’s touch worked out the stressed and tense muscles in my body and the warm sensation of the stones gave an unbelievable effect.
After two hours of being kneaded, oiled and softened, it was time for my mini facial. My face was gently warmed with washcloths and cleansed thoroughly. Then I was covered in a healing mask, prepared for my sensitive skin, which was followed by toning sprays. It was possibly the most relaxed facial I’ve ever experienced. It was done very professionally and left me with a soft and clean skin.
My 150 minute trip to tranquility was about to be over. I was led to the Sala to have a cup of ginger tea and a healthy snack – plate of mixed fruits. I felt very peaceful. I guarantee that a visit the Tea Tree Spa will relax your body, soothe your soul and lift your spirits. The Tea Tree Spa experience is all about you- satisfying your needs, giving a lift to your day and leaving you feeling positive about life in general. Overall it was an unbelievable experience. The personnel were very friendly and the facilities are outstanding. I’m giving it 5 stars and I’ll recommend it to anyone.
Step inside and feel the difference!

Prices for treatments range from 600 to 3,500 THB. Open hours: 9.00 am – 8.00 pm
