The Duke's charming open air teakwood villa, art gallery, and courtyard is a favorite restaurant among locals and visitors alike. Originally built in the period of King Rama VI by the Royal Family and used as a vacation home by Prince Damrong Rajanubhab, a younger brother of King Rama V (King Chulalongkorn) and the founder of the "Diskul" family, The Duke's inviting ambience will immediately impress you with several unique dining areas that flow gently into one another among the swaying palms, gentle breeze, and calm of the sea.
The Duke offers over 200 menu selections to choose from. All moderately priced with regularly posted specials. The menu shows a variety of soups, salads, appetizers and main courses such as a sizzling sirloin steak in red wine sauce, fillet minion in mushroom sauce or succulent duck breast to name just a few.
Fresh, live, and local seafood offerings include everything from prawns, soft shell crab, squid, and oysters to fried and steamed whole snapper dishes, each simmering in their own sweet, lemon, pepper, or chili sauces and delicately prepared by our expert Chefs from fresh ingredients and served in a traditional and elegant style.
Their more casual diners include hot baked pizzas like the prosciutto, salmon, vegetarian, or Hawaiian pizza and boiled to perfection pasta plates made from special imported ingredients.
A master wine list of exquisite world class wines from France, Italy, Chile, Australia, Africa and California include local and imported draughts and bottled beers, cocktails, whiskeys, liqueurs and soft drinks to enjoy a perfect match with your dinner.
