Visa Inc. Prices Initial Public Offering Visa Inc. (NYSE: V) announced today that it has priced the initial public offering of 406,000,000 shares of Class A common stock at $44 per share. Visa's shares will begin trading on March 19, 2008, on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "V". The closing of the offering is scheduled to take place on March 25, 2008. Visa expects net proceeds from the offering, afterdeducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses, to be approximately $17.3 billion.

Thailand's economy may expand by more than 5% in 2008 Thailand's economy may expand by more than 5 percent in 2008, spurred by exports and government spending, Finance Minister Chalongphob Sussangkarn said. Shipments will continue to grow at a "double-digit rate" next year, Chalongphob told reporters in Bangkok today. The economy may expand by at least 5 percent this quarter, taking 2007 growth to more than 4.5 percent, he said.
