Hua Hin Civil Boy Scouts to set up its new structure

Mr. Chumphol Choksuchat, the President of Hua Hin Civil Boy scouts club, revealed presently the new office is being built beside Wangklaikangwon School, with the budget of approx. 2 million baht. The office is composed of an auditorium, office room and standard restroom. The building was named "Luksuae Chaoban Chaloemphrakiat Pedsib Phansa Building", literally meaning Civil Boy Scouts Building for the occasion of H.M. the King's 80th Birthday Anniversary, by Mr. Kwankaeo Watcharotai. The building is expected to be completed in March this year. However, the construction budget has come from the sale of the Jatukamrammathep amulet since 2007. Another 200,000 budget will be used to purchase office accessories.

Currently the number of civil Boy Scouts is insufficient and only 100 civil Boy Scouts are ready to work. Mr. Chumphol explained that in the near future civil Boy Scout's affairs must be restored again in the hope of participating in various activities, such as, welcoming the procession of the Royal family, traditional festivals or even welcoming visitors of Hua Hin.

"The 100 civil Boy Scouts recently attended the mourning ceremony of HRH. Galyani Vadhana's funeral at the Grand Palace in Bangkok in order to show deep respect to the princess and the royal family, which was one of our significant missions on behalf of all civil boy scouts" said Mr. Chumphol.

Mr. Chumphol also added in the middle of this year, Hua Hin civil Boy Scout consultants and committees has agreed to restore and support Hua Hin Boy Scouts and to stimulate a vicinity as well as to submit the letter to the Royal Household for requesting H.R.H. Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn to give out 300 honorable civil Boy Scout's flags to the 10 neglected provinces in the centre. The honorable ceremony is initially expected to take place at Rama VI Camp, Cha-am, as soon as the Crown Prince has accepted the issue.
