Hua Hin mayor declares after
"We were advised that the construction company filed a law suit against Hua Hin municipality and claimed B8 million from the municipality. However, the municipality informed them about the court order and they acknowledged the order. The municipality's lawyer has contacted the police and explained the working process of the municipality already," Mr Siraphan explained.
He further added that Hua Hin municipality will not compromise if anyone breaks municipality law especially those who are constructing in the city centre where many people reside and commute every day. If the constructions provide difficult commutation, and if the municipality finds that any construction is not abiding by the laws, the municipality will have to enforce the law vigorously.
"The municipality's staff from architect section and vice mayor perform their duties by visiting construction sites to see if the constructions are disturbing the law and neighbours. The municipality needs to be strict because sceneries along the railroad downtown shouldn't be disturbed. Hua Hin railway station is a famous tourist place and no visitors should leave unimpressed," said Mr Siraphan.
Mr Siraphan stated about a southward area from the train station where residents and commuter find it's difficult to travel around. People in Soi Bonkai are affected by narrow, bumpy road. "I'd like to pledge to State Railway of Thailand to let Hua Hin municipality rent this area because the municipality aims to improve this road and area to be more usable for Bonkai residents," said Mr Siraphan.
